Facebook's Game of the Year in 2016, the game has continued to be one of the most popular games on Messenger and Facebook.
The game is a vertical scrolling third-person shooter that can be played solo or as a multiplayer when going on raids. Raids are organized around your Messenger chat group, and different chat groups get different monster raids. So, if you are in multiple chat groups, you'll be able to fight more bosses.
Additionally, because of the social media element, it's easy to level up on your own and then play with friends for those big boss fights.

Some of the more advanced guardians, such as Jade and Arcana, come with particular abilities. Jade can become invulnerable and cause double damage, while Arcana can clone sidekicks.
About those sidekicks: one of the best features of the game is the ability to harness the powers of the dragons within the game. You get dragons as eggs and evolve them to become particularly fierce fighters.

How to Play Everwing : 6 Steps
If you aren't already playing, by this point, you probably wish you were. However, to play the game and to play well, you need to make sure you get all the steps right.
We've laid out all those steps for you here. If you just work through these from Step 1 to Step 6, you'll be decimating those boss monsters and riding high on the dragon in no time.
1. Get Facebook
This is absolutely crucial. The game is only available on Facebook and Messenger, and based off the comments from Blackstorm Labs, the company that created the game, that is never going to change.
Blackstorm Labs has said they see the future of games in platforms like Facebook and not in apps. So, if you want to play, you've got to go to Facebook.
So, if you somehow don't have a Facebook account yet, sign up. If you have an account, sign in to start playing.
Once you're on Facebook, finding and starting the game is incredibly easy. The game is free and starts instantly.
2. Make Sure Your Phone Is Compatible
The game is available on your phone and on your desktop, but most of us will play it, at least part of the time, on the phone.
If you want to play, then, you need to make sure your phone is up for it. If you are constantly buying a new phone, this won't be an issue, but many people may still be using phones or an OS that can't keep up with the demands for the gameplay.
With that in mind, then, make sure your iPhone has at least iOS 8 and your Android is at least 5.0 Lollipop.
Additionally, some features are only available on certain phones. In particular, the game allows you to buy gems (which then open up premium content). To do this, though, you need to be using an Android phone with at least OS 6.0.

3. Get a Feel For the Game and Build Some XP
Before you go any further, it's time to take a little time and to get your bearings in the game. It has very simple controls, but you'll still want to get used to them for a while before trying anything more advanced, like a boss raid with friends.
Play around with the menus so you get a good feel for how the game is laid out. Knowing how to select your dragons will come in handy later, so find out now.
Then, start playing. Essentially, when you're playing, the only thing you need to do is to swipe your finger or thumb back and forth across the screen. This allows the guardians to move, focusing attacks on the monsters or bosses while avoiding taking damage.
Again, it's simple in principle, but you want to make sure you have the hang of it before trying to take on the big bads out there in a raid.
Additionally, while you're practicing, you can get some coins, items, and XP, allowing you to gain access to more guardians and gain new abilities.
4. Create a Messenger Group
You can play the game on your own every single time, but you'll be cutting yourself off from about half of the game by doing so.
It is really a game best seen as both single and multiplayer all at once. In fact, it's also autonomous, allowing you to send guardians and sidekicks off on quests on their own. You just have to check in later to see the progress.
If you eliminate any of these elements, your enjoyment and advancement in the game will suffer.
Put another way, without the multiplayer element, you'll miss out on a lot. For instance, you won't be able to go on boss raids and challenge your friends.
These are not just fun. They can be your only way to gain access to the best guardians and some great treasure.
That's why it's so important you make sure create an EverWing Messenger group. Luckily, this is really easy. Go to Messenger or use the desktop version of Facebook and click on the icon that allows you to create a group.
You can add all your friends who are currently playing, or you can invite all those you think might be interested. Once you have a chat group, you can click on the + icon, which will bring up a menu. You can then click on Games, which will have a game controller icon.
This will bring up a list of games, and you can choose EverWing. You can then choose Boss Raids when your group is ready to go into battle.

As we mentioned above, it is actually a more complex and involved game that you might assume when you start playing. There's a lot you need to keep in mind as you play if you want to really get the most from your game play.
For instance, if you really want to get the most from your sidekicks, you have to do more than just evolve your dragons. You also need to keep track of their Zodiac Evolution because getting this right can make their attacks far more powerful.

6. Use These Everwing Tips
Getting the most out of it requires you know the right way to approach the game from the first time you play it. These Everwing tips will make sure you're successfully defending the realm from all-comers from the moment you first hit Start.
1. Get the Right Guardians Early
When you are first starting any game, you can be a little overwhelmed by your options. Should you spend coins early and get something new and shiny, or is it better to hoard your cash to see what else comes along?
The answer, when it comes to the game, is to spend, spend, spend. In particular, get the guardians as quickly as you can.
Just upgrading from Alice to Fiona at the very beginning gets you double the XP. More useful, though, will be to aim for Lily, who earns you double the coins. This allows your wealth to grow more quickly, opening up far better options going forward.
2. Get the Right Items
Like other options, starting a new game can make it hard to know which items you want to get. While you're playing, you'll see lots of loot falling your way, and you won't have time to grab it all.
That means you've got to make choices. You've got to choose which items to rush towards while you're also collecting coins. Your first, and understandable, impulse will be to try to get everything. Whatever falls, try to grab it.
That would be great, except you're always endangering yourself when you go after anything. At the same time, getting any one item may exclude your ability to get another. No matter what you do, you've got to make a choice.
So, look out for these dropped items. Most importantly, try to get Magnets. This is an ideal item partly because it makes everything else easier on you. The Magnet attracts all the rest of the loot, so you don't have to make those tough choices.
After the Magnet, look for Rush Flowers. This speeds up the guardian and grants temporary invincibility, allowing you to smash through all monsters and collect everything they drop.
While you might find plenty of goodies dropped after destroying a monster, if you focus on these two above all others, you'll advance faster in the game.
3. Focus on Gems Over Coins
We're conditions through decades of gameplay to always go after those shiny gold coins as soon as they appear.
Coins are great, and they're very useful, but they aren't nearly as useful as gems. Gems are more valuable than coins, and they also allow you to buy better stuff, including those top guardians and the best dragon eggs.
4. Evolve Your Dragons!
When you get a new dragon, you can be forgiven for celebrating a bit, but if you don't put the work into evolving that dragon, you're really limiting how useful it can be.
While dragons are never as powerful as the guardians, they can still do a lot of damage and provide a great deal of help. The more you evolve them, the more they can do. They also become worth more when they evolve, making it possible to purchase those top-level guardians.
5. Use EverWing Cheats
All of the above tips are incredibly useful, but sometimes, you need a little extra boost to get what you need from the game. That's where EverWing cheats come in.

Dragons are broken down into five different categories: Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic.
As you might suspect, that list of categories ascends in terms of ability and usefulness. Common dragons are the first you'll encounter. They're strong, but they can't do much else. You'll really have to work to get those Mythic dragons, but when you do, you'll up your game to an incredible level.
